This 36' flush-deck Ditchburn Launch, built in 1928, was brought to us after having significant damage to the deck after a storage building
collapse occurred under the previous ownership. The damaged finish had to first be removed from the hull, and then the deck frames had to be replaced. The deck framework and skin is now complete with solid 5/8" mahogany strips screwed and edge-nailed just as the original was done. She has been faired, stained, and 5 coats of build-up varnish applied, and the yellow grout installed. The finish will be built up slowly on hull and deck for longer-lasting protection, and the boat will once again ply the waters of the Muskoka lakes in Spring 2024.
