Alleghenia, a 24' Ditchburn Launch, was built in 1924 for Minaki Lodge, near Kenora, Ontario. It spent it's life servicing this island until Peter Breen acquired it in 1987. Restored between 1989-90, it has been a signature Ditchburn Launch over the past 30 years both in Muskoka and for the past 15 years, Lake Toxaway, Georgia. This boat has been very well maintained, with "freshen up" re-finishing and service in 2006 and in 2015. The boat is in "like new" condition, and the encapsulated Breen bottom is as good as the day it was installed.  The Gray Marine 6-cylinder Engine was sent out in 2015, freshened up and given electronic ignition. This turn-key, maintenance free piece of history is now offered for sale at $200,000.
