The Jessica

YEAR: 1926
Originally named 'Ahbiwin', this launch was originally built for Walter Welsman, the founder of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. This is the first boat built by Earl Barnes after leaving Bert Minett in 1926. She now resides in Minnesota in a notable collection.

LENGTH: 26'
Peter Breen found this boat in 1984, and restored it between 1985-86. Among the first major restorations completed by Peter Breen, this is one of the boats that put him on the map, so to speak. She won awards everywhere she was shown, and many restorations would follow.

BUILDER: EARL BARNES
Earl Barnes has became a very collectable brand of boat today. This is because he built beautiful unique boats, and did so one at a time. Of all the builders back then, his philosophy most aligns with the Breen mission. As Barnes did, Breen Boats strive to focus on quality over quantity. One custom boat at a time.
