Kemah II

This boat was built in 1934 by Herb Ditchburn. It was designed by Earl Barnes. After Ditchburn's first two depression-caused bankruptcies, futuristic styles and designs such as this were attempted to turn the companies fortunes, but the intricacies required in construction proved too costly, and nothing could turn the tide. Totally re-built in 1994-5, Kemah II won "Antique Boat of the Year" that summer at the Gravenhurst boatshow & "Best in Class" in Lake Tahoe, California in 1996. This boat has a zero-maintenance Breen encapsulated bottom and is powered with a classic re-power Chrysler 6-cylinder offering reliability with the period-correct sound and look. Offered for purchase at $200,000.
