Pausar
YEAR: 1917
'Pausar' is a fine example of an early Canadian-built Muskoka-style launch. Measuring only 5'6" wide, these early boats were long and narrow, as early gasoline engines did not have much power to push them.
LENGTH: 30.5'
This extensive restoration was commissioned by Peter Lawrence and was the first completion at the new Rockwood, ONT facility in 1987. Upon completion, it competed heavily in the boatshow circuit, and won countless awards, helping launch the reputation of Peter Breen early on.
BUILDER: DITCHBURN BOATS
Her sleek, long lines and flush-deck engine compartment make her appear even longer than her 30' of hull. The late David Beneke, of Lexington, Kentucky, bought the boat in 2003 and used it for many years at his 'camp' on Saranac Lake in the Adirondack region of New York.
