Ragtime

F49CCC6B-6771-4176-A310-EAF93AB8469A.jpe

YEAR: 1989

This boat was the first 'Contemporary Classic" that came to Breen for a new bottom. A testament to the old adage "You get what you pay for." Peter has replaced many 'west-system bottoms. They slap them together with staples and air-nails and as soon as water/moisture gets in, it spreads like wildfire.

LENGTH: 22'

Tom Rennie bought this boat from Sandy Kennedy in 2015 and brought it to Peter for a Encapsulated Plank Breen Bottom in 2015-17. Tom wasn't in a rush, so it was spread over 3 years, and totally re-finished inside and out. Hardware and engine scoops were added to give the boat a little more sex appeal. Powered by a 290 HP, fuel-injected 350 cu. in. Vortec, it's exhilarating

ride matches its appearance.

BUILDER: HACKER BOAT CO.

This design is very reminiscent of the early "Gold-Cup" raceboats of the 1920's. A long- sleek front deck and narrow beam make these boats look like sports cars on water. Mr.Rennie has now acquired 'Cash Injection' to

accommodate his growing family, and 'Rag Time' now resides on Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey where she is used and enjoyed regularly by Ralph Savastano and  family.
