Vivienne II
YEAR: 1923
This boat left Muskoka in the 1940's and spent the next 40+ years on Lake Belwood near Guelph, ON. It had been stored outside in the elements for the last few decades, and though deteriorated, was intact with all the stamped Minett hardware in the garage.
LENGTH: 31'
Neville Poy jumped at the opportunity to bring this historic vessel back to life and commissioned the forensic restoration. After two years, Vivienne II was ready to hit the water for the first time in 40+ years.
BUILDER: BERT MINETT
"Vivienne II" has all the staples that made Minett famous- Cast windshields, rumble seat in the rear, bow light ornament, custom castings and curved flowing lines on the deck-work. Vivienne II is now part of a select few of the surviving Minett long deck launches.
